Your childʼs IEP will most likely include support aids and services that will help him/her
meet educational goals. Services are not automatically assigned. Instead, as your
special education advocate, Julie can help you determine and request the ones that
meet your childʼs individual needs.

Supplementary aids and services Julie has helped clients obtain include, but are not
limited to: counseling, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, testing
adaptations, assistive technology, preferential seating, social interaction support,
communication devices and behavior support.

Julie will help you obtain testing that can determine your childʼs need for specific
services. Using this information, Julie can work with you and your childʼs school to
obtain supplementary aids and services.
